I’ve used Stasher before and have been impressed with how simple it is to book online. The website is clear and easy to use, and it’s really convenient. We were heading to Wimbledon for the tennis and needed somewhere to store our bags. We were able to find a local stash point and book, whilst on the train. My experience with Southfields Stash point isn’t consistent with my experience of Stasher as a whole. When we arrived we were directed to leave our bag on the floor, in a customer area, at the end of the counter, on top of another bag. They didn’t want to see ID or take a note of the booking ref, didn’t give us a ticket or secure anything through the zips on our bag. When we returned, our bag had been stashed on top of a beer fridge, in a customer area, in full view of the door. We pointed to it and said to a different member of staff that we were collecting that bag. They didn’t ask to see our booking ref or any ID, just got the bag down and handed it over. Our bag was exactly as we’d left it and all was fine. But we felt slightly uneasy about it all day.
