Left luggage at King's Cross and St Pancras

King's Cross has its own left luggage facility, open every day from 07:00 to 23:00.

If you're coming off Eurostar, Southeastern, East Midlands Railway or Govia Thameslink Railway at St. Pancras International, Excess Baggage Co. runs the left luggage facility in The Circle area on the ground floor. The St. Pancras International facility charges £12.50 per item for 12 to 24 hours and £7.50 per item for every 24 hours thereafter, while Stasher storage in London starts from £1.49 per bag per day.

Left luggage at Euston station

Euston is a major London hub for Avanti West Coast, London Northwestern Railway, Caledonian Sleeper and London Overground services. Its staffed left luggage desk sits opposite the waiting room by platform 16. Hours run 08:00 to 21:00 Monday to Wednesday and 08:00 to 23:00 Thursday to Sunday, so check the day before planning a late pickup. Fees are £7.50 per item for up to 3 hours, £12.50 per item for 12 to 24 hours, and £7.50 per item for every 24 hours after that.

Luggage storage at Victoria Coach Station

If you're arriving by coach at Victoria Coach Station, luggage storage sits opposite the ticket office, costing from £2.00 for up to an hour to £10.00 for 6-24 hours. It opens 08:00 to 22:00 Friday to Wednesday but closes at 20:00 on Thursdays.

Getting around London and to the airports with luggage

Transport for London only lets you bring luggage you can carry yourself on the Tube, London Overground and Elizabeth line. Don't count on help either, because luggage assistance isn't available on the wider Underground network or as part of the turn up and go service. For Heathrow Airport, the Heathrow Express runs non-stop from Paddington Station to Terminals 2, 3 and 5 in 15 minutes. The Piccadilly line takes about 50 minutes but also reaches Terminal 4. The Stansted Express leaves Liverpool Street Station for Stansted Airport in as little as 45 minutes.

Can you bring a suitcase into the British Museum?

Not a wheeled one: the British Museum doesn't allow wheeled suitcases or any bag over 40cm x 40cm x 50cm or 8kg inside. Its cloakroom by the Main entrance on Great Russell Street opens daily from 10.00 to 17.00, and until 20.30 on Fridays.

Can you bring luggage into the National Gallery?

No, wheeled luggage isn't allowed inside the National Gallery, and that includes cabin bags as well as suitcases. The cloakroom on Level -1 of the Sainsbury Wing takes bags up to 56 x 25 x 45 cm for £3 per item.

The Natural History Museum has two cloakrooms: the Central Entrance one is for large bags and suitcases only, while the East Entrance one handles coats and other items.

Can you bring a suitcase into the Tower of London?

No, suitcases, large bags and rolling luggage aren't permitted inside the Tower of London, and it has no left luggage or lockers either. With nothing official on site, leaving your case with Stasher from £1.49 per bag per day is the simplest workaround.

Bag rules at Wembley, Emirates and Tottenham Hotspur stadiums

Wembley Stadium allows each person just one small bag no larger than A4 (297mm x 210mm x 210mm). Wembley Park, on the Metropolitan and Jubilee lines, is the closest station to OVO Arena Wembley, a 10-minute walk away. OVO Arena Wembley strictly prohibits all bags larger than 30cm wide by 40cm long by 20cm deep and has no cloakroom or storage facilities for luggage.

Emirates Stadium only lets in bags smaller than A4 and has nowhere on site to store luggage. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has no left luggage service either and bans bags over A4 (21cm x 30cm).

Westfield Stratford City is a short walk from Stratford's major transport hubs. Its cloakroom on the Lower Ground Floor next to Costa Coffee takes luggage, shopping bags and coats. The cloakroom at Westfield Stratford City charges £6 for small luggage or £8 for large luggage for 0-4 hours, with a weight limit of 15kg per item.

On Sunday 11 October 2026, the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Jacksonville Jaguars at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium applies the NFL's Clear Bag Policy, which limits the size and type of bags you can bring into the stadium, so pack light or plan where anything bigger will go. Mariah Carey brings her show to The O2 arena on Monday 30 November 2026.
