This worked out perfectly, we left a backpack there while we went to a concert and was able to get it as soon as we arrived a couple hours later.
Perfect solution if you want to visit places without luggage. I used it earlier and I will again for sure. Highly recommended.
Really easy to find at London Bridge Station, just head out the Tooley Street exit and walk towards the bridge approach and it is on the left, look for Saad Souvenirs.
Excellent, easy service that saves having to carry heavy luggage throughout the day when you don't drive and waiting to get into booked accommodation
The app was easy and relatively inexpensive for the solution. Lots of stash points to choose from and easy to use for a first time user
Great location near bus station for the airport and super friendly owner that was very helpful. This is a must stay location. Thank you!
Brilliant service. It was like magic - we left the case in the morning and it would miraculously be at the next stop before we arrived! Thank you x
Very straightforward, booked bags in advance, dropped at Stasher point. Picked them up after the concert. No drama. Great idea.
The process of putting in and taking out the luggage is very easy. They have a dedicated deposit room, which is very secure!
This worked out perfectly, we left a backpack there while we went to a concert and was able to get it as soon as we arrived a couple hours later.
Great service, super friendly and the location is right by the bus station. Thank you for taking such great care of our items.
London: the UK’s capital, one of the world’s busiest cities, and the place where it all started for Stasher. We stored our very first bags here in London and it’s been our number one city ever since. Helping you find luggage storage near you in London is what we are here for!
But let’s be real: you’re not here for the thrill of stashing a bag. We accept that. We’re here to help you with why you’re REALLY here - to have a great time in London. We want you to get the most out of your trip, whether you’re here for a day, a month, or even if you live here!
This guide will tell you why you might need Stasher, how it works, where you can find storage near you, as well as local tips and tricks from our London-based team.
Pack your bags - and we’ll see you soon!
London used to have lockers in major train stations, but now only a handful of "official facilities" remain, and they are expensive (£7.50 for 3 hours, £12.50 for 24 hours, just for one bag). They also often have long queues while they scan bags. We set up Stasher to offer people a better service.
Stasher has hundreds of affordable luggage storage locations in London (and thousands around the rest of the world). The guides below will help you refine your search (by station, airport etc). But when you're ready, the best way to find us is to use the search bar above, or download our app, and browse our available options. We guarantee they'll be better value than at the stations.
Every day, millions of people travel through London. This is a city full of energy and full of busy people. Whatever the reason you’re here, there’s one thing you don’t want to be doing: dragging heavy bags or suitcases around with you.
To save you wasting your first/last day with bags, Stasher is here to help you out.
Whether you stayed in an Airbnb, a hotel, or with friends - nobody wants to be stuck with their bags after the dreaded 10am checkout. Sure, you might need better friends if they’re imposing checkout times on you. And sure, your hotel might offer free storage. But London’s a big place. With Stasher, you can choose from hundreds of secure storage options near you, either where you're staying or where you're going.
Another common problem is the “no-baggage policy”! Stadiums, museums and arenas are getting increasingly strict on what you can bring in - to be safe, it’s advisable never to bring bags bigger than an A4 piece of paper. While some venues will have a cloakroom, like Wembley, you can be sure to face long queues and exorbitant prices.
Stasher has several options dotted around all of London’s main venues: booking online avoids the queues and it’ll be much cheaper. Whether you’re into sports (we love football), music, history or anything else - it’s a no-brainer to Stash your bags first.
Does it surprise you to learn that Brits in London use Stasher more than international tourists? Even though we built Stasher primarily for travel, locals appreciate the service too. Going on a night out with friends or colleagues? Going to the gym? Going on a date? Our secure bag storage throughout London ensures you’ll have one less thing to worry about.
We built Stasher to help you out in all those circumstances and more. But how does it work?
Stasher connects you with shops and hotels all across London who can keep your bags safe (we call them Stashpoints). These businesses have secure storage areas (either locked storage rooms or actual lockers). Check out our detailed guide to storing luggage in hotels when you're not a guest.
When you book online with Stasher, you reserve this space for the exact dates and times you need. Your left luggage is also guaranteed by us against loss or damage. You can search a specific location or hit the near me now button to search for luggage storage near you (remember to enable location permissions).
Booking is simple - we recommend downloading our app, but you can also use this website. Simply search for the area you need storage, choose the best option based on location, times and price.
You can pay using credit card, Apple Pay and Google Pay. It takes less than 2 minutes and both you and the Stashpoint will receive confirmation by email.
When you arrive in store, follow the instructions in the email, showing this and photo ID. Store the bag in the secure Stasher area - we also recommend taking a photo which you can show upon collection.
That’s it. It’s easy, it’s cheap, and it’s your ticket to freedom!
When we founded Stasher - and invented the concept of digital-first luggage storage, subsequently imitated by LuggageHero, Nannybag, Radical Storage & Bounce - the first Stashpoint we ever signed up was by London’s Euston station. To this day, we target train stations first when we launch a new city - and we’re live in over 1000, so we’ve repeated this formula a lot! Many of our locations offer 24/7 luggage storage at London stations.
Below is a list of London’s top stations, to help you find what you need faster. Click to see our guides to each.
A short walk from King’s Cross / St Pancras. Handy for visitors arriving from the north west, or planning to explore the nearby British Museum or the Wellcome Collection. The official facilities in the station are expensive (£15 per bag for the day or more). Tubes: Victoria and Northern lines.
Trains go west, and the Heathrow Express departs here. Drop your bags and enjoy a visit to Hyde Park, Little Venice or the Serpentine Gallery. Tubes: Hammersmith, Circle, District, Bakerloo and Elizabeth lines.
Trains go south, and the Gatwick Express departs here. A 10 minute walk from Victoria Coach station. Perfect for those headed to Buckingham Palace or the Victoria Palace Theatre. Tubes: Victoria, Circle and District lines.
St Pancras - home of the Eurostar, Thameslink and the East Midlands Railway. Use Stasher’s luggage storage in London around St. Pancras International if you’re catching a train to Paris or visiting the British Library.
Trains go north from King's Cross. Stasher offers plenty of luggage storage options near Kings Cross Station, ideal for explorers heading to the Harry Potter Shop, Hogwarts or Regent's Canal. Tubes: Piccadilly, Northern, Victoria, Hammersmith, Circle and Metropolitan lines all intersect here.
Trains go south east from Charing Cross. Visit the National Gallery or stroll through Trafalgar Square. Tubes: Bakerloo and Northern, while nearby Embankment is on the Circle, District and Northern lines. Fun fact: London’s central coordinates land exactly on Charing Cross station.
The Stansted Express departs here, as do trains east. Explore Spitalfields Market or the bustling Shoreditch area. Tubes: Central, Circle, Hammersmith, Metropolitan and Elizabeth line tubes, while nearby Moorgate adds the Northern line.
Trains go south east from London Bridge. It is home to the iconic Shard and Borough Market. Don't fall for the classic tourist trap: taking a photo of Tower Bridge and thinking that it’s London Bridge (London Bridge is likely the boring grey bridge you’re standing on when you take the photo). Tubes: Jubilee and Northern lines.
Trains go south. Stasher’s luggage storage near Waterloo will free you up to explore the London Eye or stroll along South Bank, like in all the movies. Tubes: Northern, Bakerloo, Jubilee and Waterloo & City lines.
Airports are another hugely popular area where people need to leave luggage. Tourists transiting through London make use of Stasher’s airport storage locations every day, storing their bags for days or weeks at a time.
Just note, we work with hotels who are generally located very near but NOT inside the actual airport terminals! In some cases, taking a shuttle bus might be advisable.
London’s biggest airport, serving long-haul and short-haul destinations. You can get to Heathrow via the Heathrow Express, the Elizabeth Line, the Piccadilly line, by car (if you’re brave) or by bus. Stasher is perfect for travellers in transit, needing to leave bags for days or weeks, and is much cheaper than the in-airport Excess Baggage Company facilities.
Yes, you'll find several Stasher options within a short distance of the terminal, for half the price of the facilities in the terminals.
Yes, there are secure storage options in Stasher's partner hotels, for half the price of the facilities in terminal 4.
Absolutely. Stasher has affordable luggage storage options near T5 in partner hotels. The official facilities are more expensive and will cost on average £15 per bag
You can reach Gatwick by Thameslink train, the Gatwick Express which goes from Victoria, or by coach - no tube lines go to Gatwick. Stasher is ideal for travellers looking for cost-effective and flexible storage solutions outside traditional airport hours.
Stasher has great value partner hotels that will store your luggage securely near both terminals. The airport also has a facility in each terminal, costing £15 per bag per day (making Stasher half the price).
You can reach Luton by Thameslink - just note you’ll need to change at Luton Airport Parkway. Stasher has several hotel options for storage very near to Luton Airport. Perfect for cheap storage before your European getaway.
London City is a wonderful airport - genuinely, it’s one of the best in the world, an airport that was really designed with passengers in mind. We could go on about its merits, but the main thing you need to know is you can get to it via DLR (perhaps even taking the cable car at North Greenwich). Stasher provides cost-effective and secure luggage storage solutions nearby.
Stansted is home to Ryanair, therefore if you’re taking a cheap flight to Europe, you’ll likely have to travel through it. You can reach Stansted via train, taking the Victoria line to Tottenham Hale and changing, or the Stansted Express from Liverpool Street; you can also get coaches from Liverpool Street, Stratford or other locations.
