Since it’s a hotel, it was open 24 hours. Which worked out for us since we were late to pick up our stuff by an hour past the pickup time. Also a huge room they had set aside just for luggages. Would definitely recommend this point.

Great experience. Fast pick up and fast drop off. I would definitely come here again. They are located closer to 8th avenue which is ideal.

Perfect location.  Central to NYC, close to Penn station and Times Square.

The merchant wrote a number on a scrap piece of paper, had me take a picture of it, then taped it to my suitcase. I even said to him that it didn't seem like a very professional way to handle the Stasher process. Kinda made me nervous about the process too, but our bag was found in the same shape and place as we left it.

This was an amazing experience. Checking in and checking out were both very smooth and the best part is that the hotel is open 24 hours.

it seems sketchy at first (leaving your bags at some rando place). but it worked and the people were great. they seem to have a locked facility on site that keeps your stuff safe. would do it again for sure!

The store was fine. They put a number around the luggage handle and had me take a picture of it. When we returned, I showed them the number and they retrieved the bag. It took a couple of minutes to bring the bag but, no big deal. Everything worked out great.

Storage across Broadway

Broadway pulls travellers through the middle of Manhattan for shows, shopping, and rail connections, and many find themselves holding bags at the wrong moment — which is worth sorting before the curtain goes up.

Some major transit hubs and museums around this stretch of Midtown have strict limits or no storage at all, while others simply weren't built with luggage in mind, so planning ahead matters more than usual here. The Broadway Theatre District runs from West 40th Street to West 54th Street between Sixth and Eighth Avenues. The Museum of Broadway in Times Square has lockers, but they cannot accommodate luggage. One Times Square prohibits suitcases, trunks, wheeled duffel bags, carry-on bags, coolers, and packages, and offers no coat check. With Stasher, you can store bags from $2.49 per bag per day at 20+ locations across Broadway.

Arriving by train and transit

If you're coming into Penn Station, you're arriving through Amtrak, New Jersey Transit, or the Long Island Rail Road. Madison Square Garden sits directly above Penn Station, reachable on the 1, 2, 3, A, C, and E lines at 34th Street/Penn Station.

Grand Central Terminal has no luggage storage services of its own, so if you're arriving on Metro-North or the Long Island Rail Road via Grand Central Madison, sort your bags before heading towards Broadway.

Exploring with bags

The Museum of Modern Art is a Midtown attraction to plan around carefully — it bans luggage of any size or type, and anything larger than 11 by 17 by 5 inches won't make it past the door.

Broadway's historic squares are also worth knowing: Union Square at 14th Street anchors a weekend farmers' market, Herald Square at 34th remains a retail hub, and Columbus Circle at 59th is a public space that breaks the grid.
