Vatican bag policy and official cloakroom rules
The Vatican Museums allow bags, suitcases and packages no larger than 40 x 35 x 15 cm. Anything bigger must go into the Museums’ official cloakroom, which is free and open Monday to Saturday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
