I had a great experience with Stasher. The service was fast, easy and reliable. The staff was polite and helpful, and my luggage was safe the entire time. The booking process was clear and smooth from start to finish. They also offer amazing cappuccino and croissants, which made the experience even better. I’m super satisfied with the service, and I will definitely visit again.

  • Melina6 months ago in Via Prenestina
It was very convenient to book online. I usually stay at hotels where I can check the luggage in early but this time we stayed at an apartment so were unable too do that. We had to find a place convenient to where we arrived in Rome and were our apartment was located and it was easy to use this location. As far as the location... This was very convenient and our luggage was safe. So, for that purpose, 5 stars. However, the person who checked us in was very grumpy. This was the start to our stay in Rome so it left me a bit unsettled afterwards. But, for the purpose of storing luggage it was fine.

Very easy to book, the hotel was right next to Termini, friendly staff, the whole thing was very smooth. And definitely great value vs station lockers, considering we left our bags there the whole day. Would use again for sure!
  • Tracy7 years ago in Via Prenestina
It was great to leave our bags in Rome while we traveled to Venice and Pisa with just our backpacks. The location we used was one block from Termini so we dropped everything when we came from the airport and picked it up 4 days later.

We are on a touring holiday in Europe and every now and then we stop off in a town for 3 or 4 hours and want to look around the sights without dragging our suitcases behind us Especially some of the old towns have cobbled streets which are difficult to manoeuvre with wheeled suitcases
  • Solange7 years ago in Via Prenestina
Convenient and safe service. We left our bags for the day while we continued to tour Rome. Close walk to the Coliseum , cheap, convenient, and secured.
  • hannah7 years ago in Via Prenestina

About Pigneto/Prenestina

Italy and its capital Rome are layered with history, art and everyday charm, from ancient ruins and Renaissance churches to lively piazzas and world-class cuisine. Visitors come for iconic landmarks, museum collections and the timeless street life that blends centuries of culture into a vibrant urban experience.

The districts of Pigneto and Prenestina sit east of the historic centre and grew up along the ancient route of Via Prenestina, once the road to Praeneste (modern Palestrina). Traditionally working-class and industrial, the area has undergone a creative revival and is now known for street art, independent cafés, live music venues and a buzzing evening scene. It’s popular with visitors who want an authentic local atmosphere, more affordable dining and nightlife, and easy connections by public transport for a quick ride into central Rome—making it a practical neighbourhood to explore and enjoy.

Typical hours: many airport facilities operate extended hours or 24/7, but exact times depend on terminal and service operator. Typical price: from about €6–€10 per item per day. Check the airport’s official site for precise terminal location, hours and fees.
