Exploring La Défense with bags

Place de La Défense is the focal point of the district, with its large esplanade, modern office buildings, and the monumental La Défense de Paris sculpture. The Grande Arche de la Défense, a key landmark standing 110 metres tall on the historic axis of Paris, anchors the western end of that esplanade. Both are open-air spaces, so walking around them with a small day bag is straightforward, but there is nowhere to leave a larger one once you are out there.

The CNIT Forest, a subterranean digital forest and event venue in the heart of the district, sits inside the CNIT building and is reachable by following signs for CNIT from the La Défense – Grande Arche metro or RER stations.
