Clean, easy, practical, nice people on the reception of the hostel will mark your bag and leave it in their office, I feel it's safe. Hostel is also close to the underground metro so that is very nice if you have bigger bags to carry.

Museum Bag Rules and the Onsite Cloakroom
Kunsthistorisches Museum does not provide luggage storage, so large suitcases and other luggage cannot be left there as part of a storage service. The free cloakroom is for outerwear, umbrellas and standard bags, while lockers provide another onsite option for those belongings. These facilities are limited to the museum’s cloakroom and locker arrangements, not a left-luggage service for suitcases. For an oversized item, use luggage storage outside the museum rather than relying on the cloakroom or lockers. The distinction is straightforward: coats, umbrellas and standard bags are covered by the free onsite facilities, but large luggage is not accommodated. A separate luggage-storage point is therefore needed for any suitcase that does not fit within those arrangements.
Nearby Stashpoints and Museum Opening Times
Stasher has 1 luggage-storage point within a 3-minute walk of the Kunsthistorisches Museum’s main entrance on Maria-Theresien-Platz, with 3 points within 5 minutes. Near the entrance, 2 Stasher points stay open late, including 1 open 24/7. This provides an option for evening visits, with round-the-clock availability at one location.
The museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., extending until 9 p.m. on Thursdays. Its opening hours therefore differ from the storage network’s late and 24/7 availability, which is useful when visiting outside standard museum hours.
Stasher does not set a general size or weight limit for ordinary luggage. Acceptance still depends on the individual Stashpoint’s availability and prohibited-item rules, so the general policy does not guarantee acceptance at every location.
