Close to the station and very convenient. They stored our bag securely for the day and were happy for us to sit in the bar lounge to cool down from the outside heat when we arrived an hour early (instead of having to immediately collect our bags and sit in the heat at the station to await our train).

Highly recommend Singhs Grocery for storing luggage. We weren't able to store luggage at our accommodation before check-in, and this stashpoint was the only available one in the area which could facilitate all of our large suitcases.

The Hofburg Palace permits only bags no larger than A4. Backpacks, cabin suitcases and large umbrellas are explicitly prohibited, so those items cannot be taken into the Palace. The Palace, including the Sisi Museum and Imperial Apartments, has no functional left-luggage service and no lockers for visitor luggage. The Sisi Museum has no separate left-luggage facility either: its entrance and exit are at different locations. There is therefore no onsite locker option for luggage that exceeds the A4 limit. The main visitor entrance for the Sisi Museum and Imperial Apartments is under the Michaelerkuppel at Michaelerplatz in Vienna. Check your bag size before heading to that entrance.
