Great location just off the royal Mile so a good place to drop bags when you haven't got accommodation. Really useful for train station. Owner, and dog, were very friendly and the bag felt safe

There was a 15-minute waiting line, but the process to deposit the luggage and then pick it up was very quick. The staff was very kind as well :)

Waverley Mall location very easy to find, staff member was really friendly and helpful. Central location if using the train station. Just a note for future users of location, you don't have to go from the station out onto street level and around to the location, like Google Maps suggests. You can just go through Waverley Market (where the McDonald's is) and go up to the location there.

The guy running this place was genuinely so helpful - let me know what times the venue was open for collection and gave me his contact details in case I was running late or had any questions. Much appreciated!

Why you need storage before visiting

The Museum of Edinburgh has no official luggage-storage facilities. Edinburgh Castle also has no luggage storage and prohibits suitcases and large rucksacks of 30L or over on its premises. Anyone visiting both attractions must therefore store bags externally rather than rely on either venue. An official alternative is available at the National Museum of Scotland on Chambers Street, where the Entrance Hall has self-service lockers for luggage measuring up to 58 x 44 x 66cm. This makes external left luggage the relevant option for bags that do not fit those lockers.

Stasher luggage storage near Museum Of Edinburgh has no bag size or weight limits, so suitcases, large rucksacks and oversized items are accepted. Every booking near the museum is covered by the Stasher Guarantee, with protection of up to £10,000 per booking.
