I dropped off my bag around 2:30pm and came back for it around 7:30pm with no problems. The staff kept my bag safe and I didnt have to hassle with going all the way to my hotel before starting my activities.

Great location in an office building. Staff was super kind and helpful. Highly recommend if you're in need of a safe place to store your luggage for a couple of hours. We returned from a cruise and had 6 hours before our return flight. This service provided us the ease we needed to spend the day exploring in Miami without having to carry or worry about my luggage

The location for suitcase storage was easy to find and the people there were very friendly and even gave us tips on what to do in Miami in a few hours.

The shop where we booked the luggage storage was not open at the indicated hours, we had to wait for an hour!

The store where we were supposed to leave our had two locations in the same mall. We started at the first one, where a clerk vaguely gestured in the general direction of the second one, and it took us quite awhile to find it. The person who accepted our luggage at the second location gave us a handwritten receipt, and told us that she would not be there when we planned to come back. We got our luggage back without a problem, but it made us a little nervous.

Wynwood's art, walls, and lack of official storage

Plenty of travellers arrive in Wynwood straight from the airport or train with bags in tow, only to find the neighbourhood's big draws aren't built for luggage. Here's what to do with yours while you explore.

A few venues do provide lockers or a cloakroom, though sizes and availability vary widely, with specifics for each location. Wynwood sits north of Downtown Miami. The area is known for more than 200 murals spread across a 50-city-block district. The neighbourhood itself does not operate any official luggage storage or cloakroom. Many visitors plan for a half-day to a full day when exploring Wynwood. Within Wynwood, the Art District concentrates much of the gallery and mural activity. With Stasher, you can store bags from $2.49 per bag a day at 6 locations across Wynwood.

Exploring the walls and the marketplace

Wynwood Walls, established in 2009, is the headline outdoor street-art museum and one of the most prominent installations of its kind in the world. Plan 60 to 90 minutes for that portion alone, so dropping a bag beforehand is essential if you're heading straight from the airport or station. The Wynwood Marketplace is free and open to the public every Thursday to Sunday, which makes it an easy stop rather than a ticketed commitment. The Museum of Graffiti prohibits large backpacks and graffiti materials inside, so pack light or leave the bigger bag elsewhere before you queue.

Bag rules at Wynwood's immersive venues

Superblue Miami offers free lockers in the lobby, and anything larger than 12x12x12 inches is not permitted inside the installations. You'll need a timed ticket reserved in advance, so check your slot before assuming you can drop off your bags and leave.

The Balloon Museum in Wynwood is stricter: no bags or backpacks larger than 8 by 5 inches, though a paid cloakroom on-site covers the rest. The closest station is Culmer station on the Orange and Green lines, which helps if you're arriving with luggage straight off the train.
