Location wasn't anything fancy but served its purpose. I would suggest adding the suite or door number provided to customer. The Uber driver drove to the address i gave them and some guys in the area sent him somewhere else and then we had to find the door number. The company signs are small.

  • Fernando6 years ago in Miami Airport
The hotel that received our luggage had airport transfer service available, both the check-in/luggage delivery and the check-out/pick-up were easy and quick, and at the pick-up they allowed us to rest for a few minutes in the hotel reception, as we were tired from the trip.

Luggage storage at and around Miami Airport

Its baggage storage desk is on the 2nd level of Central Terminal E, open daily from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m., though you’ll need photo ID and a flight ticket to use it.

If you’re planning a long layover or want to shop without your suitcase, Dolphin Mall runs its own left-luggage service for visitors, which can pair well with a Stasher booking elsewhere in Miami if the airport desk’s hours don’t fit your schedule.

Miami Airport is located 8 miles (approximately 12.9 kilometres) northwest of Downtown Miami. With Stasher, you can store bags from $2.49 a day.

There's no strict size limit, though prices can vary with bag size. Every booking comes with the Stasher Guarantee, which protects your bags up to US$13,000. Stasher storage in Miami can be booked through the website or app.

Before you fly: security, liquids and waiting airside

Security at Miami Airport lets each person through with one carry-on bag plus one personal item such as a purse, briefcase, laptop, or backpack. Liquids follow the standard rule: containers of 3.4 ounces or less, all packed into a 1-quart-size bag. Only ticketed passengers can go beyond the security checkpoints, so anyone meeting a traveller or seeing them off will need to sort out bags before that point. Moving walkways on Level 3 give step-free access between terminals and out to the MIA Mover station, which links to the airport’s train and metro stop — useful if you’re wheeling a bag rather than carrying it.

Getting between the airport and Miami with luggage

The Orange Line Metrorail runs from the airport to Downtown Miami, reaching Government Center station in roughly 15 minutes. You reach it by taking the free, wheelchair-accessible MIA Mover from the terminals to the Miami Intermodal Center. Trains start around 5:04 a.m. and stop at 12:29 a.m. on weekdays, with a one-way fare of $2.25.

Downtown Miami itself has no official baggage storage facility at its district or primary transit hubs, though the Metrorail and the free elevated Metromover serve the area well.

Stasher offers luggage storage in Miami — including spots in Downtown Miami and Miami Brickell — so you can drop a bag and explore hands-free rather than carrying it onto the Metromover.

South Beach has no baggage storage provided by the City of Miami Beach or the local tourism authority, but the free Miami Beach Trolley runs through the area seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Stasher has luggage storage in South Beach itself, which helps if you’ve checked out of a rental well before a late flight.
