Luggage storage at Busan Station

A lot of travellers come through Busan Station with bags, whether that's after a ferry from Japan or between KTX and metro trains.

The station itself sits near the international passenger terminal, and the immediate area works well on foot if you're not hauling luggage. The North Port waterfront park is an easy 15-minute walk away, while Choryang Ibagu-gil is steep enough that you'll want your hands free. Busan Station is located in the Choryang-dong neighbourhood of Dong-gu, Busan. Official luggage lockers are available on both the first and second floors of the station building. There are 328 luggage lockers in total, including extra-large ones in the Bada-maji waiting room on the second floor. Getting to and from the station with luggage

Line 1 of the Busan Metro stops directly at Busan Station, so you can ride in, drop a bag, and ride out without a taxi. The station is not an airport express rail stop — Gimhae International Airport is a separate location from the KTX terminal, so don't count on dropping luggage at the station en route to a flight. The Busan Port International Passenger Terminal is nearby, and its ferry services to Japan mean plenty of people pass through this side of Dong-gu with bags before or after a sailing.

What's near the station: walks and parks

The North Port waterfront park is a 15-minute walk from Busan Station via an elevated pedestrian walkway that starts at Exit 6, so it's an easy way to stretch your legs if you have time between trains. Choryang Ibagu-gil, a historic hillside walking route, begins just a couple of minutes' walk from Exit 7 — it's a steeper walk where you'll want your hands free rather than hauling a suitcase up the slope.
