Luggage Storage - Montreal VIA Rail Train Station

VIA Rail is the Central Station in Montreal that connects to Amtrak services from the city. There are cloakrooms available for train passengers with a ticket confirming departure on the same day. You cannot leave any baggage in the cloakroom once your trip is completed or overnight, except for bikes. Their operating hours are from 5:15 am to 7:45 pm on weekdays.

The storage services are free for anyone with a business/ prestige class ticket. However, for economy class, there may be a $6 fee. The station covers liability of damaged bags left in the cloakroom up to the actual value with a maximum of $25.

Luggage Storage - Metro Station

The Place-des-Arts metro station is located in the Ville-Marie borough of Montreal and serves the green line. This station accepts payment through cash, e-transfer, and Paypal for luggage storage in downtown Montreal. Prices are $6.99 per item per day. You will be charged an extra $2.99 per item for luggage larger than 23kg.

Luggage Storage - Gare Central Montreal

Montreal's bus central station, also known as Gare d'autocars de Montreal, is the main departure and arrival point for most of the inter-city buses. The terminal serves nearly 300 buses per day and the station connects to the Berri–UQAM station of the Montreal Metro system.

The station has lockers and a baggage room where you can store your luggage. To rent the lockers, you must provide proof of travel on a bus service through Gare d'autocars de Montréal. Lockers are $6 for 24 hours and have the following dimensions:

  • Small locker: 33 x 35.5 x 71 cm
  • Large locker: 35.5 x 61 x 71 cm

If you have luggage larger than the locker dimensions, you can store them in the baggage room. The baggage room is $12 per 24 hours and an additional $12 hours per day for each piece of luggage.

Montréal–Trudeau International Airport is the main airport in Montreal for international flights. The city is also served by the Montréal Mirabel airport for local vacation destinations and cargo.
