The place was hard to find - Google maps was showing an address to be in the middle of a big market. When we found the place the owner didn't seem to be able to access his stasher account or know how to handle our booking. But he was nice and friendly. We left the bags for the day and there was no problems with getting them back. I hope he'll get paid by stasher.

It all worked out very well, but given there's no lockers or similar, I was a bit worried. The shop owner didn't seem to run to the opening hours on your website & when I went to retrieve my bags at just gone 6, the shutters were already down - the website says it's open till 9!

They were very kind to receive our luggage, in a good location in the historic center; perhaps the only thing I would add is that they provide an exclusive code or pin for the luggage to ensure it belongs to the owner.

The place was easy to find and close to the bus stop for the airport. Central location within walking distance of many museums and sights. Very friendly and helpful staff. Also it happens to be a bike rental shop so you can also rent a bike to get around if you want.

Bag rules inside the Palacio and the museum cloakroom

Nearby Stasher luggage storage has no bag-size or weight limits, making it an option for luggage that exceeds the museum’s allowance. Every Stasher booking near Palacio de Bellas Artes is covered by the Stasher Guarantee up to US$14,000 per booking.

The Museo del Palacio de Bellas Artes provides a paquetería, or cloakroom, for objects not permitted inside its galleries. Bags or bulky items larger than 60 x 45 cm cannot be stored there. At events in the Sala Principal, large objects that obstruct visibility are also prohibited on entry. Oversized luggage therefore cannot rely on the museum’s onsite service, while nearby Stasher points have no stated size or weight restriction.

Museum hours, tickets and metro access

The Museo del Palacio de Bellas Artes is open Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:00 to 18:00. For a same-day museum visit, the ticket office is the relevant option: tickets must be bought there on the day, and no advance reservation service is available. The ticket office operates from 10:00 to 17:30, so admission arrangements need to be made within those hours rather than through an advance booking system. Bellas Artes metro station provides direct access to the Palacio. It is served by Line 2 and Line 8, making the station the practical metro choice for arrivals using either line.
