What customers say about us

Brilliantly useful

Another fantastically useful booking with a brilliant service! Happened to use the same venue as my previous booking, so the service received was also excellent. I will always always always happily & highly recommend Stasher for luggage / property storage needs, and that's not just because they're probably the least expensive option out there. Thank you very much to everyone at Stasher and their storage partners/locations! :)

Easy and convenient

Booking online was easy and the Old Montreal location perfect. We were able to have brunch and tour the area without the hassle or worry of our luggage. Staff were friendly and polite. Store was clean and easy to find.

Trusted customer

Easy to book - good location

Great location, easy to book in, friendly ‘shop keeper’. The location I used was a 2 minute walk from Covent Garden and only 5 mins from my AirBnB. Highly recommended... So much better than dragging my bags round the shops for an afternoon whilst waiting for my check in time at the accommodation

Dave Morgan

Simple and convenient

This service is very convenient! It was very much helpful. Easy and simple to book, and I just went to the place and dropped my luggage. The staff there was very kind too. Thanks to this service I had a such a lovely day in London :)

Saves you so much hassle!

I needed to store a bag because I was heading to an event that didn't allow for luggage. I was amazed to find this Stasher venue minutes from the train station and open 24hrs. This gave me great flexibility and helped make the most of the day.

How convenient

We had been on a cruise and had a day in Adelaide, last thing we wanted was to drag bags all day. We also found great coffee at our bag drop off point, quick, cheap and what a fabulous service will use this service again

Janelle Maybury

Lukasz Dygas

Such a great service

I had landed in London early in the morning and needed somewhere to store my case for the day while I explored and waited to get to my accommodation for that night. The Shakespeare Hotel in Paddington was the one I chose and it was fantastic! As I pre-booked online all I did was walk in essentially drop my bag and I was off! So quick and efficient! Highly recommend!

Safe and secure

First time using Stasher in Fortitude Valley on Gipps St with 5 hours until my Airbnb was available. Great service very well organised and bag was locked away in a safe and secure area. Will definitely use again.

So glad we found out about this, great service and cheaper than the station

So glad we found out about this! We kept our bags at the hub just a short walk from kings cross and was so much cheaper plus a great service. We got to enjoy our last day in London luggage free and whilst waiting for our train we sat in comfort with a drink, would definitely recommend. The staff were so friendly and helpful.

Useful information about the French Quarter

Originally inhabited by Choctaw Native Americans, the French Quarter was founded by Jean Bienville in 1718. The year 1762 inaugurated several decades of Spanish rule. After a brief return to the French, Napoleon Bonaparte transferred the territory to the United States with the Louisiana Purchase of 1803.

After jazz music emerged from Congo Square in the early 1900s, the area around Bourbon Street became the heart of Storyville, New Orleans’ historic red-light district.

  • Walking or bicycling is the best way to get around the French Quarter. By the time you find parking, you could have already arrived at your destination on foot.
  • Do take a stroll down uber-touristy Bourbon Street, but don’t spend all of your time there.
  • Pick up a New Orleans Pass to avoid long queues and save money on popular French Quarter museums and tours.
  • You can do your laundry, have a drink and see a band all at the same time at Igor's Checkpoint Charlie on the corner of Esplanade and Decatur. The bar and laundry room are open 24/7.
  • From Checkpoint's, music lovers can head up to Frenchman Street in the Faubourg-Marigny where local clubs offer some of New Orleans' best live music.

Top Ten Things to Do in the French Quarter

  1. Visit the museums at Jackson Square. Afterward, buy some original NOLA art, get a tarot reading and tip the talented musicians who play around the historic square.
  2. Buy a feathered mask and umbrella at the French Market, and join a Second Line parade.
  3. Pick up a copy of Lonely Planet's guide to the French Quarter, and go on a self-guided architectural tour. Start with a drink at Jean Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop.
  4. Order a beignet with chicory-flavored cafe au lait at Cafe du Monde. You'll be completely covered in powdered sugar by the time you leave, but it's worth it.
  5. Browse the antique shops and galleries under the gorgeous, fern-lined balconies of Royal Street.
  6. Explore the dark side of New Orleans with a visit to the New Orleans Historic Voodoo Museum or a Haunted History tour.
  7. Immerse yourself in Jazz history at Preservation Hall and the New Orleans Jazz Museum at the Old Mint. Afterward, head up to Frenchman to see a trad-jazz show at the Spotted Cat.
  8. Enjoy French-Creole cuisine at its finest at Antoine's Restaurant, located at 713 St. Louis Street. Since original owner Antoine Alciatore opened the restaurant in 1840, five generations of his family have been continuously serving the New Orleans community.
  9. Do some souvenir shopping on Decatur or the French Market. Make sure you stop for a muffuletta at the Central Grocery or try the fried chicken with rabbit jambalaya at Coop's Place.
  10. Assemble a band of random locals and fellow travelers for some classic "City-that-Care-Forgot" shenanigans. Generally, New Orleans locals are rather friendly and outgoing, and they relish any excuse to celebrate.
