  • Bear in mind that lockers can’t be pre-booked. Although big stations have row upon row of coin-operated lockers, during peak travel season coin lockers may be full.
  • You can pay in cash and sometimes use IC cards for the electronic ones, which is handy.
  • If you leave your items for longer than three days, the station staff will clear them. However, you can retrieve your items and pay at the counters.

Terminal 2 has two baggage storage counters on the Arrivals level and one on the Departures level.

  • Terminal 2: One of the counters in Arrivals is open 6.30am-10.30pm.

  • Tokyo Narita Airport is one of the two primary airports serving the greater Tokyo area. It's located 65km 40 miles from Tokyo city.
  • A free shuttle bus operates every 10 minutes between terminals. A transfer is also available between Tokyo Narita and Tokyo Haneda, more info available here.
  • JR East and Keisei Railway trains depart regularly from Airport Terminal 2 Station to Tokyo city. A cheaper option would be the Tokyo shuttle bus - it costs ¥900, approximately £6. Buses leave every 20 mins.

An average sized suitcase would cost around ¥500. The maximum storage period is two weeks. The weight limit is 30kg, awkwardly shaped items might not be accepted.

  • Tokyo Haneda Aiport is located less than 30 minutes south of central Tokyo.
  • Travelling to and from Tokyo city centre is incredibly easy: you can either take the JR Yamanote or JR Keihin-Tohoku Line from Tokyo Station to Hamamatsucho Station and transfer to the Tokyo Monorail to Haneda Airport (less than 30 mins total), or alternatively take the JR Yamanote or JR Keihin-Tohoku Line from Tokyo Station to Shinagawa Station and transfer to the Keikyu Airport Line to Haneda Airport (35 mins).
  • Free shuttle buses operate frequently between all terminal buildings (outside of the security check)
