Graceland: bag rules and storage on site

Planning your visit and the tour itself

Graceland is open daily from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, except Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, with the last mansion tour starting at 4:00 pm. Time-wise, the mansion tour runs roughly one to one and a half hours, while the longer Elvis Experience tour takes about two and a half to three and a half hours. If you're staying nearby or just want a quieter moment, the Meditation Garden is open free for walk-up visitors from 7:30 am to 8:30 am daily, again except Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

Getting to Graceland with your luggage

The bus stop at Elvis Presley Blvd at Old Hickory Road is about a three-minute walk from Graceland, which is useful if you're arriving by public transport with a bag you'll need to store. The journey by bus from the area near Graceland to central Memphis takes approximately 1 hour and 56 minutes, so it's not a quick hop if you're trying to split your day between the mansion and downtown.

Delta's Kitchen, the on-site restaurant inside The Guest House at Graceland, serves breakfast and dinner if you want to eat without leaving the property. For something beyond the gates, Eggxactly sits less than a mile from Graceland in the Whitehaven neighborhood. Pollard's Bar-B-Q is a neighborhood barbecue restaurant located south of Graceland at 4560 Elvis Presley Blvd.
