Getting to Oxford with luggage

Oxford Train Station is a 5-10-minute walk from the city centre, making it the obvious first stop for most visitors arriving with bags. It has no left luggage facilities or lockers at all, so don't count on leaving anything there while you explore. The central coach station is at Gloucester Green in the city centre, which is where most long-distance buses pull in. The Oxford Tube runs direct between London and Oxford, with the central coach station and Thornhill Park and Ride as its two major stops. If you're travelling from London on the Oxford Tube, you'll likely step off at one of those two stops with your suitcase still in hand before heading off into the colleges.
