Te Papa sits on Wellington's waterfront at 55 Cable Street, where its five floors of exhibitions and outdoor viewing terrace make it one of New Zealand's top tourist draws. The Queens Wharf ferry terminal, served by the MIF and QDF lines, is a 7-minute walk away. Route 2 buses cost as little as NZ$13 for a full day of travel across Wellington.
