Excellent experience! The place was very clean and easy to access, with convenient stairs, and everything went smoothly from drop-off to pick-up. The staff was friendly and professional, making the whole process quick and stress-free. I also ended up buying a pair of branded sunglasses at a great price, which was a nice bonus! I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for safe luggage storage. A fantastic business with excellent service!

The location was easy to find by getting directions on Google maps via the stasher app. The photo of the location on the stasher app was up to date and inside the storage shop was clean and easy to use. As we had booked via stasher, there was an IPad on the wall to facetime a member of staff who opened the storage lockers remotely for me. Upon arrival, I facetimed a member of staff again who remotely opened the locker for me to collect my luggage.

Storing bags at Athens Airport and Larissa Station

Stasher's network offers a city-based alternative to the official airport facility. Care4bag operates on the Arrivals level near Gate 1 at Athens International Airport, with luggage storage available 24 hours a day. The charge is approximately €8 to €18 per item per day, based on the item's size. Metro Line 3 runs directly from the airport to central Athens in approximately 40 minutes. That direct connection makes leaving bags in central Athens a practical alternative to using the airport facility, particularly when the journey continues into the city. Athens station, also known as Larissa station, is the primary hub for intercity rail travel. It is the main rail landmark to note alongside the airport's Arrivals-level facility. Care4bag provides the official airport service, while Stasher's network offers the city alternative.

Bag-free sightseeing in Monastiraki and the Acropolis

Stasher has 10 luggage-storage points near Monastiraki and 6 near the Acropolis. That puts somewhere to store your bags close to both of Athens’s main sightseeing areas.

The Acropolis Museum requires backpacks and bulky items to be left in its ground-floor cloakrooms. Its nearest metro station is Akropoli, on Line 2, Anthoupoli–Elliniko, making it the practical arrival point for a visit where large bags cannot enter the museum.

EMST prohibits any object larger than 55 x 35 x 25 cm. The Canellopoulos Museum also prohibits bulky items, suitcases and prams, and requires backpacks to be left at the ticket office. These rules make off-site luggage storage in Athens useful for items that cannot enter, while the cloakroom and ticket-office arrangements remain tied to each museum.

Late-night storage for summer festivals and events

Stasher has 3 points in Athens that stay open late, a useful option for luggage storage during the city’s 2026 festival season. The Athens Open Air Film Festival runs from 06 July 2026 to 26 August 2026 at various locations across Athens, making late-opening storage relevant across its programme. Music Technopolis follows from 02 September 2026 to 20 September 2026 at the Technopolis City of Athens. Those three late-opening points provide an evening option across both event periods.
