Before you fly: security, liquids and terminal layout

All passengers and their luggage go through security screening before entering any restricted area, so factor in the queue if you're carrying multiple bags. For hand luggage, liquids must be in containers of 100 ml or less, and every container has to fit into a single transparent, re-sealable 1-litre plastic bag. The main terminal splits arrivals and departures across passenger buildings B and C, while a separate terminal handles business and general aviation passengers. Getting between the airport and Dubrovnik with luggage

There is no train service to Dubrovnik Airport, and no train station in the city itself, so the shuttle bus is your only public transport link. The Platanus shuttle is the airport's designated transport connection into Dubrovnik, departing from the parking area just outside Arrivals roughly 30 minutes after every flight lands. The journey takes about 30 minutes to the Ploče Gate stop and 35 minutes to the final stop at Dubrovnik Main Bus Station in Gruž, with a one-way fare of €10. The city centre is roughly 20 km from the airport, and Old Town itself is entirely pedestrianised, so the shuttle won't drop you at your hotel door there — you'll be walking the last stretch with your bags.
