We had an early checkout and a late flight and I was dreading the thought of dragging our bags around our last day in New Orleans. Our Airbnb host suggester Stasher and it was easy to find a nearby location. The hotel where we left our bags felt safe and secure.

We recently were in a position where our plane wasn’t leaving till the evening and we had to be out of our AirBNB by 11:00. Stasher really helped us out. They had a convenient location and we were able to quickly drop our luggage off and pick it up again. Just pick your location out online, select the number of bags and a drop off/pick up time and your good to go. Our bags were not lockable and I had a laptop in one. I never felt concerned for their security. I would recommend them to anyone.

Storing bags at the airport and Union Passenger Terminal

For luggage storage in New Orleans, Stasher provides an alternative without an Amtrak ticket requirement. Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport has no luggage-storage facilities or lockers. The RTA 202 Airport Express connects the airport with downtown and stops at UPT Bus Bay 2. The E1 Veterans-Airport route also connects the airport with New Orleans, with its airport stop on the departure terminal’s top level.

The main intercity rail arrival point is Union Passenger Terminal at 1001 Loyola Avenue. It is open seven days a week, from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. Official luggage storage there costs $10 per day with a valid Amtrak ticket. Without one, storage may be available at $20 per item for 24 hours. Stasher is the ticket-free alternative for leaving bags in New Orleans rather than relying on the station’s Amtrak-linked pricing.

Bag-free visits to the French Quarter, Warehouse District and City Park

Stasher has 1 luggage-storage point near the French Quarter, providing somewhere to store bags before visiting nearby sights. The National WWII Museum in the Warehouse District has limited space for rolling luggage at its Guest Services Desk. Storage there depends on availability, while lockers cover small items only. From Jackson Square, the museum is approximately a 30-minute walk covering 0.7 miles.

At Hermann-Grima and Gallier Historic Houses, large bags, backpacks and umbrellas must be checked at the shop. A nearby luggage-storage option avoids relying on these restricted arrangements for a French Quarter route.

For City Park, the New Orleans Museum of Art sits near the Canal-City Park streetcar line. That line terminates at the intersection of Wisner Avenue and Esplanade Street, providing direct streetcar access to the park area.

Late-night storage for NOLAxNOLA and the Film Festival

Stasher has 1 New Orleans point that stays open late, making late collection possible for evening events and luggage storage in New Orleans. NOLAxNOLA is a music and entertainment festival held across various music venues from September 24 to October 4, 2026. The 37th annual New Orleans Film Festival takes place from October 22 to October 27, 2026. Those autumn festival dates make the late-opening point a relevant option for bags collected after an evening programme.
