Easy to find location; so convenient as it was close to station and on way to castle. Wonderful family owned the place; felt very confident we wouldn’t have to worry about our luggage. Easy to pick up on way back too. Highly recommend!!

Luggage was safe

Great position located between the train station and the city centre, the luggages are stored in a separate building in front of the street (closed with a key) and are hidden from sight.
- Laura
This shop is a 5 minute walk from the train station and on the way to the castle. Staff was very friendly, and I felt my bags would be safe.

It was tricky figuring out how to get there, as we did not know about the pedestrian bridge needed to access it from the bus station. Once knowing that, it was a fairly short trek to the hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and we felt like our bags were safe and secure. Overall, definitely recommend.

Premier did a fantastic job of providing the service. The attendant J was very friendly and made the process seemless. Really appreciated his friendly attitude. Thank you!
- Sharon
Very easy and convenient. Works use the location again. The only concern was not receiving a tag for the luggage to insure luggage was not accidentally picked up by another customer. Maybe they were not busy is why luggage was not tagged. Would you them again if on the area.

Super friendly staff, quick and easy and perfect location if you travel by train or staying in city center

Sunny's Premier was a great place to leave our luggage on a Sunday morning whilst waiting for our train departure. We were able to walk around Stirling after checking out of our accommodation and enjoy the city. The shop is very friendly and has storage currently in an unused unit across the road.

Storage alternatives at Stirling's rail and bus stations
Stasher is the primary luggage-storage alternative for arrivals in Stirling, as neither Stirling railway station nor Stirling bus station provides official left luggage. Stirling railway station is managed by ScotRail, sits on Goosecroft Road, and has no left-luggage facility. The bus station is also on Goosecroft Road, but it has no left-luggage facility either. Its ticket office is open Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 4pm. Those are ticket-office hours, not hours for a station storage service, so they do not provide an official place to leave bags.
The public transport route from Edinburgh Airport uses an airport bus to Edinburgh Waverley, followed by a train to Stirling station. That arrival point has no official left luggage. From Glasgow Airport, the route uses an airport bus to Glasgow Queen Street, followed by a train to Stirling station, with the same lack of station storage. The bus-station alternative is also unsuitable for left luggage, despite sharing the Goosecroft Road location. For luggage storage in Stirling, Stasher fills the gap left by the official rail and bus facilities.
Bag-free visits to Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument
Stasher has no bag size or weight limits, so oversized luggage is not excluded by the service’s stated bag policy. Stirling Castle does not permit suitcases or large rucksacks of 30 litres or over, and it has no storage for luggage, prams or personal items. That makes the castle’s restriction particularly important for anyone carrying a larger case or backpack.
The National Wallace Monument also has a strict maximum bag size of 55.9 x 35.6 x 22.9cm and provides no luggage-storage facilities. Bags outside those dimensions cannot be accommodated under the monument’s stated policy, while Stasher’s policy has no size or weight limit.
Stirling Castle is approximately 0.5 miles uphill from Stirling train and bus stations. The Stirling Smith Art Gallery and Museum is approximately a 13-minute walk from Stirling rail station and a 15-minute walk from Stirling bus station. These distances place several major Stirling sights within a walk of the transport hubs, but the castle and monument’s own storage restrictions still apply.
Storing bags for Stirling's major festivals
4 of Stasher’s Stirling storage points stay open late, giving evening festival events a later option for luggage storage in Stirling. BBC Radio 2 in the Park is scheduled for Stirling’s City Park from Friday 11 September 2026 to Sunday 13 September 2026. Its multi-day programme makes late-opening points useful throughout the festival period, particularly when events run into the evening rather than ending during daytime hours.
