Good location, not far from the station

Lovely staff but didn’t check booking when we arrived. No secure luggage storage and bags are placed wherever there is space, including in the restaurant. Bags are also left unsupervised. When we came to collect, there was no one around, no one checked our names, nor our tickets. Great location though but it was pick n mix free for all with the bags.

Super convinient, just on the other side of the train station. Staff is friendly, though there's not many staff members around and your bags just sit in the reception area. But there's at least cameras.

Drop off and collection were simple enough. I didn't leave any valuables in my bag following other reviews and wasn't concerned about my bag being left in the reception area. Got a drink from the bar before collecting my bag and heading to the Sleeper Train back home. Great location right in front of the railway station.

The location is very convenient as it was right by the train station and Tolcarne Beach, which had some amazing views!

Storing bags before your onward train or bus

Stasher Stashpoints offer somewhere to store your bags in the town of your departure before an onward train or bus. Major railway stations across Cornwall have no official left-luggage lockers or bag-storage desks, including Truro, Newquay, Penzance, St Ives, Falmouth Docks, Looe and Liskeard.

Truro station is on Station Road, while Newquay station is on Station Parade. Bodmin Parkway is on Station Approach, off Liskeard Road, near Bodmin. Penzance station is on Wharf Road and has an adjacent bus station for onward travel. A Stashpoint in the relevant town keeps luggage storage in Cornwall separate from the station facilities, which do not provide official storage. This also covers journeys using Penzance’s nearby bus connection, rather than assuming the railway station can hold bags.

Bag storage at major Cornwall attractions

The Eden Project has coin-operated luggage lockers near the main entrance, at the Visitor Centre Park and Ride Bus Stop and Banana Coach Park. They require a returnable £1 coin. Tate St Ives also has lockers at the entrance, but bags larger than cabin-bag size are not permitted inside. The maximum stated size is 55cm x 40cm x 20cm, so larger bags cannot enter the building. The National Maritime Museum Cornwall has no left-luggage facility or staffed cloakroom, leaving no on-site storage option there. These restrictions make separate luggage storage in Cornwall relevant for bags that exceed a venue’s limits.

Storing oversized luggage and holiday gear

Stasher has no bag size or weight limits, so luggage storage in Cornwall can accommodate large suitcases, surfboards and other sports gear at a local Stashpoint. That makes it suitable when venue cabin-bag restrictions rule out oversized items or station lockers are unavailable. Every Stasher booking in Cornwall is covered by the Stasher Guarantee up to £10,000 per booking.
