San Francisco is a city unlike any other. First of all, roaming around its neighbourhoods will feel like you are constantly travelling through different parts of the world. And we don’t just mean the difference between the upscale elegance of Upper Haight and the alternative district of the Mission.
Each part of the city has its own microclimate, meaning that you might need a coat on Golden Gate Park while at the same time somebody might be eating ice cream near the South Beach. Home to one of the most iconic bridges in the world (the Golden Gate Bridge) and dramatic hillsides (that make dragging your baggage even harder), San Francisco is not a destination for the faint-hearted!
There is a luggage storage facility available at the Airport Travel Agency in the International Terminal of San Francisco Airport (SFO). Due to the steep prices, it is recommended that you only use the SFO left luggage storage service only if you are between a really short layover. In most cases, it is more practical and way cheaper to store your luggage in downtown San Francisco.
SFO lockers are located on the Departures hall of the International Terminal (gates G91-G102). The office is open between 06:00-23:00.
Costs for luggage storage at the San Francisco Airport are quite steep. Luggage storage will set you back $15 to $35 per day depending on the size of items you are storing.
