Luggage storage in Santa Fe Station is easy:

Amtrak offers temporary baggage storage at the station itself, but only for up to 24 hours; a valid photo ID is required.
Look for Amtrak Parcel Check service signs at the station.
The station closes nightly between 1 am and 3 am, but is otherwise open all day.
There is a fee of $10 per item for Amtrak ticket holders; non-passengers are charged $20 per item for the 24 hours. That’s more than double than Stasher’s $8 fee.
