Great and easy once I found it. They give an address but not the name of the business, and the store wasn't really marked with the address. Thank god google maps knew where to go. Lol. However once I got there the service was great and it was quite easy and convenient. It was nice and close to the Preston train, about a 3-5min walk, despite the site, saying it was going to be a 19min walk. I would definitely use the service again!
- Michael
excellent pick up. Slight wait on drop off whilst awaiting manager (for approval? unsure...) Drop off floor only accessible by lift but good service, convenient for Preston centre.

It was a premier inn which was ideal as we dropped off the bags at mid day and picked them up at midnight.

Very friendly. This is mainly a convenience store located just outside of the train station in Preston. The owner was very friendly, even though he was swamped with customers at the time.

Left 2 bags at Premier Inn Preston as my train was in the evening and I didn't want to carry heavy bags about all day. Lovely staff, very helpful and pleasant.

Storing bags around Preston station and Manchester Airport transfers
Preston station at Fishergate, Preston, Lancashire, PR1 8AP, currently has no left-luggage facilities. Luggage storage in Preston therefore needs to be found away from the station, rather than assumed to be available inside it. This is relevant for rail arrivals and journeys connecting through Manchester Airport. Manchester International Airport is the closest airport to Preston station, and the city can be reached from it by car in just under an hour. The train journey from Manchester Airport to Preston typically takes 54 minutes. Preston’s main bus station is approximately a 15-minute walk from the main railway station, so rail-to-bus connections involve moving between separate transport hubs. These landmarks help identify a suitable location for storing bags before continuing by train, bus or airport connection.
Bag-free visits to Preston's venues and sights
Stasher luggage storage in Preston gives strict venue bag rules a practical answer. 53 Degrees permits only one small bag, no larger than A4, and strictly prohibits backpacks. Stasher has 6 points in Preston that stay open late for evening event schedules. Preston Heritage Open Days is a free festival of history and culture, running from Friday 11 September to Sunday 20 September 2026 across various locations in Preston. This makes luggage storage in Preston relevant throughout the festival dates, rather than for one venue alone. The Encounter Festival is scheduled for 19 September 2026 in Preston city centre’s Harris Quarter, adding a single-day event date and central location to consider for left luggage in Preston.
How to book and what you can store
Stasher luggage storage in Preston is booked online, with your bag kept safely out of sight until collection. The booking is with a trusted local shop or hotel, or a self-service smart locker, so the storage setting is clear before you arrive. Stasher places no limits on bag size or weight. That matters for visitors heading to venues with strict luggage restrictions, where larger or heavier items may otherwise cause problems.
