Famous for its dramatic sunsets and authentic Mediterranean beauty, Nice has been a popular tourist destination since the 18th century. Affluent visitors would flock to soak in the bright sunlight and walk across its famous Promenade des Anglais. Nice is unlike any city in France, with a unique Italian influence on its architecture and cuisine. The old part of town (Vieux Nice)  is a testament to that, as it is dotted with beautiful baroque buildings such as the Cathédrale Ste-Réparatet, the Chapelle de la Miséricorde, and the 17th century Palais Lascaris.

Alternative luggage storage options in Nice

Here are some luggage storage alternatives in or near Nice’s main transport hubs.

Nice train station luggage storage

The Nice train station just recently installed left luggage lockers. Rates start from €5 for two hours, while 24-hour prices depend on the size of the luggage. From smallest to larger, the prices are €5.50/€7.50/€9.50 for the first day, then €6 for every additional day. The service closes pretty early (8am-8pm on summer months), while supply is limited.

Nice airport luggage storage

There is luggage storage available on the arrivals area of Terminal 2. Rates are pretty steep, at €14 per bag. Also, keep in mind that the process is quite time-consuming so there are definitely better options out there.

Nice port luggage storage

There are no luggage storage facilities inside the Nice port, but you can find some services around it charging €7 per day for a medium sized suitcase.

Easy to book online at short notice, and a good price. The location was easy to find, very central and the service in the shop was lovely. Luggage was kept safe and it all felt completely secure so I’d definitely use Stasher again.
