The agents were very nice however the location itself was a bit scary and not easy to find: the front door was closed and had bars, didn't look at all like a hotel, no signs, even the Uber driver wasn't able to locate it etc. As a tourist, we picked it based on the fact that they open 24/7, which was very practical, not knowing the condition of the area itself, even our Peruvian friend was surprised we were in this area.

Storing bags at Jorge Chávez Airport and connecting to Miraflores

The official left-luggage service at Jorge Chávez Airport operates 24 hours a day, every day, covering arrivals and departures at any hour. Reported rates are S/48 per day for small bags, S/96 for large bags, and S/100 for private lockers, with the price depending on bag size or locker type. Its official contact number is +51 922 559 112.

Airport Express Lima connects the airport with Miraflores. The journey typically takes 45 to 70 minutes, depending on traffic. Buses typically run hourly from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. from the airport to Miraflores, and from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the return direction. These operating hours and the traffic-sensitive journey time help set the timing for airport left luggage around a flight and the bus connection.

Bag-free visits to Lima's museums and tourist areas

Large bags and suitcases are not allowed in several of Lima’s main museums. Museo Larco prohibits suitcases, backpacks, bags and musical instruments in its exhibition rooms, but provides a free baggage and coat check at reception.

MALI bans large objects from its exhibition rooms. Its lockers are available for a S/ 1 coin. MUCEN does not permit bags, backpacks, suitcases or bulky packages in its facilities, and provides free lockers.

The Airport Express Lima bus connects the airport with Miraflores. Stops include the Marriott Hotel at Larcomar, the Tourist Information Center on Av. Larco, Kennedy Park and Hotel Boulevard. These locations cover several of Lima’s main tourist areas, while the museum reception and locker services provide specific options for luggage storage in Lima.

Lima storage hours, bag sizes, and booking flexibility

Stasher’s Lima luggage storage accepts bags of any size or weight, with no hidden limits. Hours cover awkward arrival and departure times: 39 locations stay open late, while 15 are open 24/7. That includes options for early arrivals and late flights.

A spot is reserved online at a trusted local shop, hotel, or self-service smart locker. Bags are kept safely out of sight until collection. Before drop-off, cancelling a booking gives either a 50% refund or a 100% coupon. This flexibility suits changing travel plans, whether the booking covers a heavy case, an oversized bag, an early arrival, or a late flight.
