2. Luggage storage and lockers at Las Vegas McCarran International Airport

Due to tightening security measures, the Las Vegas airport no longer offers luggage storage.

Where can I find luggage storage near Las Vegas McCarran International Airport?

The Las Vegas airport is affiliated with the third-party vendor, Bags to Go. The closest drop off point is a five-minute drive away from the airport. However, luggage storage at the airport is not recommended unless you have a really short layover.

Opening Hours

Weekdays:

8 am to 4:30 pm for drop off.

9 am to 9 pm for pick up.

Weekends:

10 am to 3 pm for drop off.

9 am to 9 pm for pick up.

Bags to Go also has restricted holiday hours, so that’s something to keep in mind.

How much does it cost?

Bags to Go charges $8 per bag per day, a full $3 more than Stasher.

Useful information about the Las Vegas airport area:

  • Several major hotels are nearby including the Excalibur and the Tropicana.
  • A decent walk up South Las Vegas Boulevard will take you to the MGM Grand and the Hard Rock Cafe.
  • If you are headed to the Venetian or the Mirage, it would be best to take a cab.

3. Luggage storage near the Amtrak South Strip Terminal

The Amtrak station in Las Vegas offers no luggage storage or assistance. Travelers suggest tipping a bellboy at one of the large casino hotels in exchange for bag storage. Some people may be comfortable taking the risk with informal storage, but keep in mind that this method is neither secure nor insured. Who wants to spend a day in Vegas worrying if checked bags are safe? Returning to find out that your luggage is gone can seriously ruin your day!

Opening Hours

Casino hotels stay open 24 hours.

How much does it cost?

Storing informally at a casino hotel depends on how much you want to tip. We guess that the friendly bellhop will want more than $5 a bag to keep your luggage safe, without offering any insurance or customer support. You're better off choosing Stasher for the South Strip area.

Useful information about the South Strip area of Las Vegas:

  • The South Strip Amtrak station is located beside the airport.
  • Visitors can take the obligatory photo with the Welcome to Las Vegas sign nearby.
  • Outlet shoppers can check out the premium outlet center nearby.
  • Visitors will find the Sky Zone Trampoline Park and the Caroll Shelby museum across the freeway from the Amtrak station.

4. Luggage Storage at the Las Vegas Greyhound Bus Station

Where Can I Find Luggage Storage at the Las Vegas Greyhound Bus Station?

The Greyhound Bus station in Las Vegas offers baggage storage for passengers. Keep in mind that Greyhound limits luggage storage to 24 hours.

Opening Hours

The Greyhound Bus station is open 24/7.

How much does it cost?

You can store bags for $1 per bag per hour for up to 24 hours. Greyhound charges a $16 fee per bag for insurance. That's $24 per day plus $16 if you would like insurance. Stasher's $6 per day fee is probably looking pretty appealing by now.

Useful information about the Greyhound Bus Station area

  • Travelers can visit the historic Golden Nugget hotel, located right by the station.
  • Visitors can check out old school Las Vegas at Fremont Street.
  • Families and art lovers will find the Children's Discovery Museum and the Smith Center for the Performing Arts across the highway from the Greyhound station.

Easy to book online at short notice, and a good price. The location was easy to find, very central and the service in the shop was lovely. Luggage was kept safe and it all felt completely secure so I’d definitely use Stasher again.
