Luggage Storage and Lockers in Kraków, Stasher's 2025 Guide

Luggage Storage Near Me in Kraków, with Stasher

Kraków is one of Europe’s most walkable cities – compact, charming, and full of surprises around every corner. Whether you’ve got a few spare hours or a full week to explore, this is a place that rewards curiosity. Just not the kind that comes with carrying your luggage around cobbled streets and castle hills.

With Stasher luggage storage options across Kraków, including near the Main Station (Kraków Główny), Kazimierz, and Wawel Castle, you can explore at your own pace – light, free, and totally unburdened.

    Exploring Kraków Bag-Free

⏱️ If You Have 4 Hours in Kraków

Four hours is plenty of time for a quick taste of the city’s heart.

Head straight to Rynek Główny, Kraków’s vast main square. Snap a photo of St. Mary’s Basilica, watch the trumpeter from the tower, or explore the Cloth Hall.

Wander the cobbled lanes to Wawel Castle for a riverside view and a glimpse of the city’s royal history.

If you’ve arrived at Kraków Główny, drop your bags at a nearby Stasher spot before heading out – the last thing you want is a suitcase on those narrow pavements.

🕗 If You Have 8 Hours in Kraków

With a full day to fill, you can go deeper into local culture.

Start your morning in the Old Town, then walk south into Kazimierz, the city’s historic Jewish Quarter. Think street art, cosy cafés, and synagogues turned cultural centres.

Grab lunch at a neighbourhood favourite like Plac Nowy, and try zapiekanka – the ultimate Polish street snack.

In the afternoon, cross the footbridge into Podgórze to visit the Schindler’s Factory Museum or stroll the quiet riverbanks.

With all this walking, you’ll want to be bag-free. Fortunately, Stasher has storage locations near both Kazimierz and the Old Town, so you don’t have to slow down.

📅 If You Have 1 Day in Kraków

With 24 hours, it’s time to soak up the atmosphere properly.

Start with a walking tour of the Old Town, stopping for coffee in one of the many cellar cafés.

Visit Wawel Hill – take in the cathedral, the castle, and the legendary dragon’s den.

Spend your afternoon in Kazimierz, finishing with a cocktail by the Vistula or dinner in a tucked-away bistro.

If you're planning an evening train or night bus, store your luggage near Kraków Główny and roam freely until it’s time to leave.

📆 If You Have 1 Week in Kraków

Staying longer? Perfect. Kraków makes a brilliant base for day trips and slow discovery.

Dedicate a full day to Auschwitz-Birkenau – a sobering and essential visit. Many tours leave from the main station.

Explore Nowa Huta, Kraków’s socialist realist suburb, with its own unique architectural character.

Take a day trip to the Wieliczka Salt Mine, a surreal underground labyrinth complete with chapels carved into salt rock.

Attend a concert in St. Katherine’s Church, visit MOCAK (Museum of Contemporary Art), or simply spend your evenings bar-hopping in Kazimierz.

You’ll likely find yourself switching hotels, catching early trains, or arriving before check-in. Stasher’s flexible luggage storage lets you store your gear safely, so you don’t have to plan your day around your bags.

Make the Most of Kraków – Without Dragging Your Luggage

Kraków invites you to explore – through quiet courtyards, buzzing neighbourhoods, and centuries of layered history. But it’s not the place to be juggling bags, especially with so many staircases, cobbles, and spontaneous moments around every corner.

With Stasher’s secure luggage storage across Kraków, you’re free to slow down, wander further, and travel better.

Book in seconds. Drop with ease. Explore the city on your terms.

In this case, please email [email protected] with documentation (e.g. screenshot of flight delay or new booking ID) and we will see what we can do.
Can I extend my booking / add more bags?

It helps us monitor and support our hosts.
What happens if I don’t pick up my luggage on time?
No worries! We understand that plans change. The drop-off and pick-up times are just estimates. As long as your booking is within the duration you’ve paid for and the StashPoint is open, you won’t encounter any issues. If you arrive after the location has closed, please contact our support team. If you're unable to collect your luggage the next day, we can arrange shipping for you and provide the associated costs and options.
    What is Stasher’s cancellation policy?

Can I store valuable items (e.g., electronics, documents)?
Every bag booked through Stasher is covered by a guarantee of up to $1,400 against theft or damage while stored at our StashPoints. While we prioritize the safety of your luggage, we strongly advise against storing essential travel documents, keys, or valuable electronics such as phones. Yes, you’ll need to bring your proof of booking (a digital copy on your phone is fine), along with a valid photo ID to show the host, and, of course, your bags! Please follow the same process when returning to collect your luggage.
Can someone else pick up my luggage for me?
If someone else needs to pick up or drop off your luggage, please email [email protected] in advance so we can update the host. The new person will also need to present the booking confirmation number and a valid ID.
    Can I pay in store?
