  • The station’s renovation in 1905 not only introduced a wonderfully attractive station, but also one that is incredibly useful to use. The major part of the station is a terminus, and there are no steps between the trains and Gordon Street, which spans its front.
  • If you want to catch your flight from Glasgow Airport and you're in Central Station, the nearest stop is “Bothwell Street at Hope Street” which is 5 minutes walking from the station. From there you can take the 500 Airport Express bus service.

Glasgow Queen Street Station

Glasgow Queen Street Station is the second largest train station in Glasgow. From there, trains travel to northern locations such as Aberdeen, Dundee, Fort William, Inverness, Oban, Perth, and Stirling. Glasgow Central is around 20 minutes away on mostly traffic-free streets.
