The location was a few minutes walk from the King’s Cross station. The staff at premier inn were very friendly and very quick. My bag was stored in a secure room which was accessed by a staff members key card. The staff member provided me with a ticket receipt which I handed in when I collected. Great value and I will definitely use them again

Hotel and assistance was good but Hotel is too far away from other terminals. Only good if you are staying at terminal 4.

My first time using Stasher was unfortunately unlucky for me. It should have been just fine, but in between me dropping my suitcase off at the Sofitel and me picking it up, the extensible handle got broken. The case was given back to me with the handle extended. I didn't give it a second thought as we were in a rush to catch a train. Only when I was on the train did I discover the handle could no longer be put down. After a very awkward journey by train and car, my husband managed to collapse the handle so that I could use the suitcase for my flight home. I later managed to get the handle fixed properly at a repairer in my home city. Not a disaster, but it wasn't fabulous either.

Left our bags here for the day. Was easy to find, super easy to complete the storage info, the staff were great and happy and the environment was clean and welcoming. Would recommend if you do not want to carry your heavy bags around all day. Pick was very smooth also.

Where to store luggage in Wuppertal
Many visitors arrive in Wuppertal for a museum or exhibition and find themselves carrying a bag with nowhere obvious to leave it, since venues here often insist on checking anything larger than a small rucksack.
The main museum district around Elberfeld has lockers or a cloakroom, but these have strict size limits and time restrictions on suitcases, so it is worth planning ahead rather than assuming you can take everything inside with you. A couple of other cultural venues may also require bags to be checked for a fee. At the Hauptbahnhof, the public lockers require coins rather than card payment. You can choose a smaller locker for 4.00 EUR or a larger one for 5.00 EUR per 24 hours. The city's world-famous suspended monorail is its most significant landmark and main visitor draw. The station is located at Döppersberg 37, 42103 Wuppertal. The Historische Stadthalle is only 0.2 km from the Hauptbahnhof in Elberfeld city centre. With Stasher, you can store bags from €4.97 a day at 10+ locations across Wuppertal.

Getting around Wuppertal with bags
Direct trains make Wuppertal easy to reach with luggage: the fastest journey from Frankfurt (M) Airport Long-Distance to Wuppertal Hauptbahnhof is 29 minutes, and the Rhein-Münsterland-Express and Maas-Wupper-Express connect the city to Münster, Rheine, Venlo, and Düsseldorf among other stops. Once you're in the city, bags travel free on NRW local transport, including trams and the Schwebebahn, as long as they're in designated areas and don't block other passengers. Buses let you board with suitcases or bulky shopping through the rear door, and Schwebebahn cars have pushchair space behind the driver's cab with a ramp at the first door.
Museum and venue bag policies
At the Von der Heydt Museum in the Elberfeld pedestrian zone, about five minutes' walk from the Hauptbahnhof, all bags and backpacks go into the cloakroom or lockers, with suitcases only held for a limited time during your visit.
At the Museum für Frühindustrialisierung, the rules are stricter: anything larger than DIN A4, plus backpacks and suitcases, must stay in basement lockers rather than the exhibition rooms. The Historische Stadthalle may also require bags to be checked into its cloakroom for a fee, so don't count on carrying one inside. The Schwebodrom in Barmen is reached by Schwebebahn to Werther Brücke station, while "Die Welt reparieren" runs at die börse from 1 October to 23 December 2026 and "Farbe, Farbe!" runs at Skulpturenpark Waldfrieden from 12 September 2026 to 3 January 2027.
