It was our 1st time using this service and it was perfect. The service went well and the hotel was very welcoming. The hotel staff made it so much easier and already knew the process for us newbies. We were able to run around Milan for a few hours luggage free. I would definitely recommend using Stasher!

The shop was opposite the museum we were visiting, no issues at all. We went in and just showed our confirmation, received a ticket and left them with the assistant to store.

The location is near Euston station so it’s very convenient for travelers from/to Euston station, only walking distance. Also the host is quite good, I got there very early at around 8am but she still hosted me.

Luggage storage at Geneva Airport and Cornavin station

Geneva's holiday rentals rarely come with a concierge, and late flights or trains can leave you with hours to fill and a suitcase in tow.

The city's own storage coverage is uneven: Cornavin station has a staffed left-luggage desk, but many of the attractions and districts worth visiting offer no luggage facilities at all, so checking prices and hours before you arrive is the sensible move. The airport's automatic lockers are located within the SBB railway station and are accessible at any time of day. For staffed assistance, the SBB Travel Centre at the airport can store luggage from early morning until just after midnight. Cornavin's staffed luggage counter is located in the east wing, with shorter hours on weekends. The train between the airport and Cornavin takes roughly 6 to 7 minutes. With Stasher, you can store bags from €1.49 per bag per day.

Some top Stasher locations in Geneva include:

⁣Coverage is densest around Cornavin. You'll typically find a bag drop at restaurants. Every booking comes with the Stasher Guarantee, which protects your bags up to €12,000. Stasher storage in Geneva can be booked through the website or app.⁣

Getting into the city with your bags

Arriving at the airport, grab the free 80-minute public transport ticket from the machine in the baggage collection area before heading towards the city. The train remains the fastest link into the centre at around 7 minutes, with a one-way fare of CHF 3. On TPG buses and trams, hand luggage and parcels that one person can carry travel free as long as they stay within 1.20m x 0.80m x 1.00m. Skis, snowboards, sleds, pushchairs, bicycles and large instruments like double basses and cellos are also allowed, though staff can turn you away on a crowded vehicle or if your bags pose a safety risk.

Exploring Geneva once your bags are stored

Once your bags are stored, the Old Town is home to Saint-Pierre Cathedral right in the heart of the city. The international district holds the Palais des Nations, home to the UN's Geneva office. For contemporary art, the Quartier des Bains houses institutions such as MAMCO and the Centre d'Art Contemporain.

Events and timing

If you're visiting in late autumn, the 32nd Geneva International Film Festival runs from October 30 to November 8, 2026. Cornavin is the rail hub for TGV Lyria services to Paris, EuroCity trains to Milan and Venice, and regional TER connections to Lyon and Grenoble, so the station's luggage desk often handles travellers between international legs. Geneva sits at the southwestern end of Lake Geneva, where the Rhône flows out of the lake.
