A single one-way ticket from the airport to the city centre costs €2.20. From the Hauptbahnhof, trolleybus lines 3, 5 and 6 head into the centre, with stops at Rathaus or Mozartsteg putting you right in the tourist heart. On Salzburg Linien buses and trolleybuses, you can carry items free of charge if they fit in your own seat area without bothering other passengers, and big backpacks must come off your back while on board.
