At the station and getting around

The Hauptbahnhof's bike station includes lockers as well as rental bikes, which can be useful if you're travelling with more than just luggage. Trams 1, 4, 6 and 7 run from the station to the city centre in about 10 minutes, so even a short stop can work with a bag if you keep it with you.
