I was told when I arrived that this Premier Inn does not take Stasher bookings on Saturdays and Sundays, I had a Sunday booking. I was informed that they had frequently contacted Stasher to inform them about this but people were still turning up at weekends to store bags. I only had a small rucksack so the lady took pity on me and kindly allowed me to leave the bag with them.

Good location, worked very well for us and staff were very friendly. The system worked well with our advance booking and we felt our bags were looked after and securely stored behind reception which was manned the whole time. Would recommend.

A good location as we were staying at the hotel when we returned. We arrived on time and our luggage was processed quickly and we were soon back in the taxi to the train station. It does work out a bit expensive when you have to store three large bags but worth not having to drag them around. I look forward to my discount voucher!

Luggage storage in Aix-en-Provence

Plenty of travellers passing through Aix-en-Provence need somewhere to leave a bag, whether a holiday rental has no place to hold it or a late train leaves you with hours to fill.

The bus network here allows only small bags that fit on your lap, and the airport shuttle is a paid ride where you'll want your larger luggage sorted before boarding. Several autumn festivals draw crowds to the centre, though none of them are described as offering bag storage, so arriving with a plan matters as much as arriving with a ticket. Aix-en-Provence sits in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southern France. There is one luggage storage facility in Aix-en-Provence about 15 minutes on foot from the Tourist Office near the City Hall. The Musée Granet does not accept suitcases, cabin bags, or voluminous luggage, offering only a free cloakroom and lockers for smaller items. Aix-en-Provence is a university, judicial, and cultural city that was the capital of Provence in the 15th century. With Stasher, you can store bags from €1.49 per bag per day.

Arriving by train or bus

The city-centre train station sits two minutes from the Cours Mirabeau and right by the bus station, so it's the most useful arrival point for the old town. On Aix en Bus services, only small bags that can sit on your lap are allowed, which makes a full suitcase impractical on local routes. School transport in the wider Aix-Marseille-Provence area asks that bags go under seats or in racks, keeping corridors and doors clear.

Getting around with bags

The Diabline shuttle serves the pedestrian centre, the Mazarin and Sextius districts, and several car parks including Pasteur, Mignet, and Bellegarde, running from the Rotonde and Place des Prêcheurs. For the airport, the A2 bus costs 10€ one-way, so it's worth knowing your bag is sorted before boarding.

Events and festivals

Phot'Aix runs from October 7 to November 30, 2026, and the Biennale des Imaginaires Numériques opens later in November. The Tchitchoubal festival of traditional music and dance comes to Aix from October 22 to 25, 2026, while the Festival Dia De Muertos Aix follows from October 28 to 31.
