Near to the train station. In and out in 5 minutes dropping off and picking up. So glad I did this as it is not possible to leave baggage anywhere at the Duomo/Leaning tower.

Storing bags at Pisa Centrale and the Airport

Stasher has 6 luggage-storage points near Pisa Centrale. The station’s official left-luggage office, marked deposito bagagli, is near the end of Platform 1, providing another storage option at the same rail hub. Pisa Centrale is the city’s main railway station, with 16 platforms and services to Florence, La Spezia, Genoa, Livorno and Rome. For airport transfers, the PisaMover automated shuttle runs directly between Pisa International Airport and Pisa Centrale, with a 5-minute journey. Storage near the station therefore places bags beside the rail-airport connection, while the Platform 1 office is the named official facility inside Pisa Centrale.

Bag-free visits to the Leaning Tower and Piazza del Duomo

At Pisa’s Piazza del Duomo monuments and museums, large bags and suitcases are forbidden. Only small backpacks or bags measuring no more than 20x30x38 cm are allowed. The Opera della Primaziale Pisana provides a free cloakroom for Leaning Tower visitors, where handbags, bags and luggage must be left. As this facility is specified for the Tower, it does not cover a bag-free visit across the wider square or city centre. Separate luggage storage in Pisa is needed beyond the monument.

Late-night storage for summer and autumn events

Stasher has 7 points in Pisa that stay open late, providing a late-opening option for luggage storage around evening events. The Art nights: Masterpieces in the moonlight series takes place at Piazza del Duomo from June 17, 2026, to August 31, 2026. The Pisa Book Festival follows from October 2, 2026, to October 4, 2026, across four venues in Pisa, including the Arsenali Repubblicani. These two event periods make late-opening left luggage in Pisa particularly relevant.

Booking, security, and official airport alternatives

Stasher offers luggage storage in Pisa through trusted local shops and hotels, or self-service smart lockers, with online booking. Every Stasher booking is covered by the Stasher Guarantee up to €12,000 per booking, adding protection for stored bags.

Pisa Airport’s official luggage storage is on the ground floor. It charges daily flat rates of €10 for bags under 70 cm, €15 for bags over 70 cm, and €25 for bikes or oversized items. The service is open daily from 08:00 to 20:00. That fixed closing time matters for a late flight, while the tiered charges provide a clear comparison with online luggage storage in Pisa.
