- Rolling Instability: Depending on how you pack the bags, whether too full or not full enough, there can be instability when rolling so the bag bends or easily tips over.
Overall Verdict
Biaggi’s foldable or expandable suitcases are a great selection for people with limited storage or who find they need more or less packing space as they travel. They also offer a decent selection of bags that fit under plane seats, including ones that can expand to full-size carry-on.
However, don’t expect a wide range of designs from this brand or an impressive extended warranty. Although Biaggi was founded by Stephen Hersh and Earl Jacobs in New York, in 2011, the brand’s story extends years before that. Stephen’s father, Ron Hersh from Brooklyn, New York and Stephen Chen from Taipei, Taiwan partnered to create a handbag company called Rosetti. Rosetti was one of the first brands to combine a handbag and wallet into one bag for added functionality.

Upon the founding of Biaggi, the company took on lessons learned by Rosetti and applied them to luggage design. They focused on functionality, quality, and durability. Biaggi became one of the first brands to create 4-wheeled luggage you can fold down into a small pouch, allowing you to easily store them when not using for travel.
