Hop! Cabin Baggage
On Hop! flights, the baggage allowances apply as on Air France flights. This means that passengers are entitled to 1 piece of hand luggage as well as 1 small personal item included with their ticket.
Your hand luggage should not weigh more than 12kg if you are travelling Economy class, and 18kg if you are travelling in Premium Economy, Business or First class.

Hop! Checked Baggage
Depending on your ticket type, you are either entitled to 1 or 2 pieces of checked baggage. Be aware that on certain fares such as the Economic Light fare, no luggage allowance is included, so if you want to bring checked baggage you will have to book this in addition to your ticket.
If you want to bring more checked baggage than stated on your ticket allowance, it will cost you 45€ per item online or 70€ at the airport.
Hop! Excess Baggage Policy
If your bag exceeds 23kg in weight, you will have to pay for excess baggage, which is priced according to your itinerary and must be paid at the airport. Please see this page for more information.
Hop! Sports Equipment
On Hop! AirFrance flights, you can bring your sports equipment as long as it weighs less than 23kg and is not more than 300cm in total dimensions.
To guarantee a stress-free trip, it is a good idea to contact the airline 48 hours before you fly to make sure that they can accommodate your sports equipment in the hold.
Hop! Musical Instruments
Musical instruments are considered standard luggage items on Hop! AirFrance flights, so the same restrictions apply as for checked baggage – no heavier than 23kg.
In general, instruments larger than 300cm total dimensions and heavier than 32kg will be accepted in the hold, but you need approval from the customer service department before your flight. Make sure to submit your request 48 hours before your departure, otherwise your request might not be approved before your flight.
