Since we launched in 2015, our mission has been to support local businesses. The very first StashPoint was our co-founder’s local corner shop near Kings Cross in London and they are still on our platform today (Hey, Michelle!).
Fast forward 5 years and small businesses continue to form the bedrock of what we do. We have thousands of hosts in over 250 cities worldwide but the Stasher experience is still defined by an eclectic mix of independent shops and businesses. From patisseries in Paris to galleries in Edinburgh to hat shops in Melbourne, we are proud to be in partnership with such wonderful hosts. Between them they have stored over half a million of our customers’ bags and those customers have bought numerous pastries, flowers and hats along the way.
We are, however, incredibly sad to have lost some of the small businesses from our platform that have not been able to weather the covid storm. Many of those still working with us face a genuine struggle for survival and now more than ever we want to support them. StashSmall is a campaign dedicated to doing just that.
Launching this Spring, StashSmall will be celebrating some of our most cherished independent hosts. Look out for the badge on our partners’ websites, as well as our social media platforms (Facebook, Linkedin and Instagram links) to see the stories shared from StashPoints across the world. Anytime you store with an independent host, simply reply to your booking confirmation email with #STASHSMALL and we will send you a credit for 25% off for your next StashSmall with us to encourage you to shop independently.
Amidst the covid chaos, we have been pleased to welcome lots of exciting new companies around the world who have joined our network as they seek to bounce back strongly over the coming months (shout out to Bob & Bettys Food Market NYC, R&B Cafe Roasters in Slovenia and Ko Working in Paris, to name a couple!)
