When we had a late-night flight back to the UK from Oslo we planned to leave our cabin bags in a locker at the central railway station. However, when we arrived mid-morning, the internet wasn't functioning and the lockers were permanently locked. We breathed a sigh of relief that our bags weren't stuck inside an unopenable locker. I had seen an advert for an app for travellers looking for easily accessible and safe luggage storage (B-----). For some reason I just couldn't download that app successfully but noticed alternatives on offer, one of which was Stasher. I am a bit of a dinosaur when it comes to tech but I was amazed at how simple it was to download and access the app, even on an ancient steam-driven Pixel 5. Within minutes I had found a Stasher "host" only a few hundred yards away from the station. I "booked in" our bags for the required time frame and the app included photos of the door entrance which helped to identify the building on a busy shopping street. The whole experience, from booking to delivering our bags to the Stasher host's office, took less than ten minutes and cost considerably less than the station locker service. Highly recommend.

Quickly got my bags checked in (it was a little busy). Check out was easy, and I bought a couple of beers to go for the hotel later. Fantastic!
