The Stasher Guarantee

Every booking made through Stasher is covered by our guarantee of up to 10.000 £ (or equivalent in other currencies), with individual bags covered up to £1,000 each, against theft, loss, or damage while stored at a Stashpoint.

How It Works

Only bags booked and paid through Stasher are covered. Paying cash directly to a Stashpoint voids the guarantee.

To be covered, you must:

  • Take a photo of each bag at check-in
  • Keep your booking confirmation and proof of payment
  • Not store prohibited items (see our FAQs and Ts & Cs)

We strongly advise locking your bags and not storing travel documents, keys, or valuable electronics that are essential for your trip. Fragile or unprotected items (glass, electronics without cases) may have limited or no coverage.

Compensation is based on the item's current value, accounting for wear and tear. It does not cover replacement cost.

How to Claim

Submit your case in our guarantee form within 48 hours of your booking's scheduled end time. Please provide:

  • Your booking confirmation
  • Photos taken at check-in
  • Description of what happened
  • Police report (in case of theft)
  • Proof of item value (receipts or similar)

Claims are assessed at Stasher's reasonable discretion. We may ask you to cooperate with the Stashpoint and law enforcement. The guarantee does not apply if you have already received compensation from an insurer or other party for the same incident.

Exclusions

The guarantee does not cover: prohibited items, bags not booked through Stasher, abandoned bags not collected within a reasonable time, or any Catastrophic Event (war, terrorism, riots, fire, natural disasters, structural collapse, or any single incident affecting more than 25 bags).
