We recommend traditional luggage or durable cardboard boxes to pack your items, as this makes them most suitable for transit. We don’t recommend packing with anything that could easily be broken or designer suitcases, as the packaging you use is not insured. If you choose to ship with boxes, we strongly suggest investing in new cardboard boxes that have two walls and are strong enough to hold what you are packing. They provide the most protection during transit. Please use bubble wrap or newspaper to help care for easily breakable items. We would hate for any of your belongings to be damaged en route!
Danish Customs Regulations
Thankfully, if you already live in the European Union, you don’t need to worry about customs. They aren’t required by law. But if you’re coming from the United States, the United Kingdom or any country not in the European Union, customs will stop. While customs aren’t fun, they are just one step of the process and you can get through them with relative ease as long as you follow all the laws associated with import taxes and duties. Be sure to fill out a copy of the invoice that customs requires for each and every package you are shipping. Attach a separate invoice on each luggage item when you leave it on your door for us to collect.
Many countries aren’t too strict about customs so you won’t have any issues, but please be aware that Stasher has no control over the customs aspect of shipping. We encourage you to go to official government websites to read their rules.
